A neon scene that is a pure function of the clock.
Two people on a video call hold SYNC at the same moment. From then on both phones run the identical scene and show the identical three-part code. They read it aloud.
Matching codes mean the ritual really happened together. That is all they mean.
Derived here in your browser from the same 8-second bucket the app uses, with the same 256-word list. Nothing is fetched to produce it. A phone that synced in this bucket shows exactly this.
How it works
Count down out loud
Both people open the app on the call. Three, two, one.
Hold SYNC for two seconds
Holding SYNC restarts the clock every animated layer is drawn from. There is no device-local time anywhere in the chain.
Read the code aloud
Two words and a number. Comparing evolving patterns over compressed video is fuzzy; three spoken words are binary.
What it does not do
It does not check who someone is. It does not tie a face to the pattern, and anyone with the app who hears your countdown can sync too.
A matching code means "we did this together", not "this person is verified". It rules out a pre-recorded video and lazy fakes. That is the whole claim.
Network
None, ever.
The app contains no networking code at all. It collects nothing about you: no analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts, no email, no advertising identifier, no contacts, no telemetry of any kind. There is no server to send anything to. It works with the phone in airplane mode.

Data and privacy
Short because there is little to say.
The app
Contains no networking code. No analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts, no identifiers. The scene, the sync code and your notes are computed and stored on the device. Purchases go through the App Store, which Apple handles.
This page
Sets no cookies and loads no trackers. Its fonts are hosted on this same domain, not fetched from Google Fonts.
The form
Submitting sends only the fields you filled in, over HTTPS, to a forwarding endpoint that relays them to a private alias. The destination address is not present in this page's source. Messages are read, answered and deleted; nothing is kept in a database and nothing is used for anything else.
